MAKING PLAY POSSIBLE

Because every person deserves to feel joy, to move freely, to belong.

Play belongs to everyone.

(Say it louder for those in the back!)

Strong communities begin with small, joyful moments.
Whether it’s a neighborhood kickball game or a free art workshop, play creates space for people to show up, connect, and thrive—together.

For every body, in every community.

For every body, in every community.

What We Do

We increase access to recreation through five core programs designed to spark joy and build community:

  • Microgrants

Small grants for individuals or grassroots groups to access recreation—whether it’s joining a local team or launching a mini dance class.

  • Program Development Support

We help communities design and launch low-cost, recreation options that fit their local needs.

  • Pop-Up Play Programs

Joyful, wellness-focused events that bring movement and connection directly into under-resourced communities.

  • Free & Low-Cost Workshops

Creative sessions where participants rediscover play, build confidence, and connect through shared movement.

  • Recreational Dreams Program

We help individuals or groups bring a personal or community recreation dream to life—from learning a skill to transforming a public space.

Play for All Foundation was created from one simple idea: play changes lives.

Our founder saw firsthand how recreational access transformed communities—fostering connection, healing, and joy.

Since then, we’ve built programs that bring inclusive, community-based play to neighborhoods across the region. And we’re just getting started.
