Sometimes, just a little help can unlock a whole lot of joy. Our microgrants are here to support you—whether you’re joining a team, taking a class, or bringing play to your block.
What is a Microgrant?
A microgrant is a small but powerful gift, usually $50 to $250—to help someone access or create play. It could cover the cost of:
Joining a sports team
Dance, swim, or art classes
Supplies for a neighborhood game night
Yoga, nature walks, or other wellness programs
Building an inclusive play space or event
Who Can Apply:
If you’re someone who wants to say “yes” to more joy, movement, or connection—but cost is a barrier—this is for you.
Youth and adults of all ages
Parents or caregivers
Small community groups
Educators or neighbors with a playful idea
What It Can Fund:
If it helps someone say “yes” to recreation, creativity, or connection—it likely qualifies!

Step 2: We review applications monthly
Step 3: If awarded, we’ll contact you and help make your play plan happen!
